Browser extension · In development

Pronuncify

A pronunciation extension I’m rebuilding around a local-first lookup flow: normalized CMUdict results first, followed by an external fallback with caching, timeouts, and graceful failure handling.

Pronunciation tools often depend on remote requests even when a common word can be resolved locally.
Approach
Normalize the selected word, check CMUdict first, then use a cached external fallback with clear timeout and error behavior.

About me

I'm a Rochester-based computer science student growing into a full-stack and AI software engineer one project at a time.

I enjoy the part of development where a messy idea gradually becomes something clear and useful. That curiosity has taken me through full-stack applications, healthcare tools, enterprise data systems, and AI products.

Beyond the code, I care about asking thoughtful questions, learning from the people around me, and leaving systems easier to understand than I found them.
